What is STEM Academy?

AVID recognized that STEM education is critical for student success in the 21st century. To help schools gain the footing they needed in this space, AVID created a turn-key 4-day summer experience for students in grades 3–8, called STEM Academy offering fantastic fun in a supportive, encouraging, and empowering learning environment.

A new offering in a new space required a new brand. Something that was modern, exciting, and tech forward.

Unveiled in 2019, the first year of the program was a sell-out success serving several hundred students across the Pacific Northwest.
