What does a brewery do when it gains its 10,000th newsletter subscriber? It sends a nice email saying thanks. What does that brewery do when it turns out, of all people, to be Wil Wheaton? We invited him to come have a beer of course. Then we brew a beer together. Then we thought we needed to have a small party to celebrate and drink that beer. Comic Con felt like the natural time to hold this event. May as well invite legendary comic artists to draw the labels too. It’s always fun to be a part of something amazing, at the right time, and at the right place. It’s even more fun to be part of orchestrating art, beer, fans, and creating an amazing experience.
Hop Con
“Oh, you love that thing I love? Let’s love it together!” Wil used that phrase to define what nerds do. As brewers, we use that phrase to define a good time. It turns out the happy intersection of these things is what being a beer geek is all about.
Hop Con was created as a way to celebrate all aspects of nerd culture. From great beer to great comics, Hop Con was a place for nerds to unite during Comic Con and celebrate the things they love. Together.

Limited edition tees and lithographs. Proceeds were donated to Hero Initiative, a non-profit that provides living expenses for aging Golden Age comic artists.
